Access to Sentai information
Only people you designate as nominated contacts can access specific parts of the service, such as being a contact for quick help or shopping assistance. With Sentai Pro, care staff can only see information about the service users they have been given access to through an access group.
Conversations stored by Sentai
Sentai temporarily stores conversation transcripts in its own encrypted database, but only summarises and shares with family and carers what is relevant, for example if medicine was taken, or help was needed. Sentai doesn’t share the content of any conversations with anyone else.
What Sentai remembers
To make conversations more relevant, Sentai remembers interests, preferences and other details that users share with it over time. Users can ask Sentai what it knows about them, change their preferences, or ask it to forget anything they no longer want it to remember.
Sentai AI use
AI is used to synthesise Sentai’s speech, convert speech to text and text to speech, create conversational content, and intelligently interpret conversations for outcomes and mood. Sentai uses multiple services to deliver a best-in-class experience, for example Microsoft Azure for Speech-to-Text, and OpenAI for content creation and analysis.

All of Sentai’s data is encrypted along with other industry standard security measures.
