Connecting the Sentai to device to Wi-Fi requires the Sentai mobile app.
Scan the QR code with the phone you will use to configure the device.
Install the Sentai app on a mobile phone.
Connect the phone to the same Wi-Fi that the device will be on.
Log into the Sentai app. Please use the email address that Sentai was purchased with. You’ll be sent a link to log into the app and continue setup from there.
Follow the instructions in the app to connect the device.
If you bought the device through a reseller without an ongoing subscription, you will be able to purchase your subscription.
DO NOT unplug the device whilst the device is showing the rotating amber light. This means that the device firmware is updating. In some circumstances there might be a very large update which will take a few minutes.
Install the Sentai app on a mobile phone.
Connect the phone to same Wi-Fi that the device will be on.
Log into the Sentai app. Please use your Sentai Pro Dashboard credentials as issued to you.
In the app, search for a user on the user selection screen. Tap on the user.
If no device is set up, the app will automatically go to System Setup within Settings. Tap on Set up speaker.
Follow the instructions on the screen to connect the device to Wi-Fi.
When configuring a Sentai device for a users, do not plug in multiple Sentai devices at once. Configure one Sentai device at a time to avoid the Sentai app finding multiple devices at once. Once the device is set up, it can stay plugged in if needed, and you can move to the next device.
