Reminders for medication can be created and edited in the Sentai app. A brief summary of the status of each medication reminder will be visible in the Sentai app in the Activity Log. To schedule a medication reminder in the app:
Go to Settings and then Medications, and you’ll see a list of medications if any have been set, and a big plus button.
Press Plus to create a new medication.
Enter the display name, the friendly medication name and the content of the reminder. It's important to give clear instructions: how to take the medication, how much, and where it is located for Sentai to be able to answer these questions. The display name is the name shown in the app, whilst friendly name is the name used by Sentai during the interaction.
Set recurrence of event: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, start date and optionally end date, and the times as required.
Press Save.
Medications can be edited in the Sentai app. To edit a scheduled medication reminder in the app:
Go to Settings and then Medications, and you’ll see a list of medication reminders.
Press the three dots on the reminder list item
Press Edit to edit the medication reminder, or press Delete to delete the medication reminder.
If you are editing the reminder, press Save to save your changes.
Sentai tracks medication adherence and alerts nominated contacts if there is a problem, such as a medication having run out, or if help is needed. If no one is available, Sentai will keep trying to reach a contact.
Sentai allows flexible scheduling of medication reminders for different medications at various times throughout the day.
